Keith Hardy, Managing Director
Mike Jackson, Sales & Marketing Director
Mike joined Dakota in July 2008 following a successful stint with premier thermal printer company Zebra Technologies. Mike’s primary focus is to help grow our existing customer base & explore new markets for Dakota to work in. During his tenure at Zebra Mike had responsibility for managing the partner community within the UK & Ireland after initially being recruited as a Business Development Manager, working with blue chip clients such as Cadbury Schweppes, Nestle, DHL, TNT, Homebase, AutoGlass & British Car Auction Group. Mike was also previously employed by Barclays Bank for whom he worked for 17 years.
Geoff Monk, Head of Healthcare Division
Geoff joined Dakota in November 2008 to help support the increasing demand for our services & expertise with the NHS and healthcare sector. Geoff has a longstanding track record in the Auto ID sector having worked for Zebra Technologies for 12 years and servicing blue chip clients such as Business Post, Grattan, Matalan, Asda Walmart & Tesco along with many hospitals.
Applications within the NHS include Mobile Point of Care, Patient Identification, Electronic Patient Records, Asset Tracking & RFID. Geoff has successfully overseen the growth of the Healthcare Division which now stands as a significant player in the NHS.
Mark Gilkes, Healthcare Mobility Consultant
Mark has gained over 15 years experience in senior management positions in the NHS during his time at Northampton General Hospital.
Many healthcare organisations are looking at how mobile working can help drive efficiencies & improve the patient experience and we look to Mark to leverage his 15 years’ NHS experience to help identify clinical processes that can benefit from the adoption of Mobile Point of Care technologies.
John Greenwood, Mobility/Systems Integration
John has enjoyed a longstanding and successful career within the Auto ID industry built over many years. John has been with Dakota under their previous name as BC Data Systems since its inception, former employers included LIS & Blackbird Data Systems, John has worked with many blue chip clients including the likes of eBuyer, Menzies Aviation, Historic Royal Palaces, Henri Lloyd, Corus Group & Virgin Media. John’s primary focus is heading up Dakota’s Mobility drive for both in house data capture & field mobility.
Karen Peacock, Head of Printing Solutions
Karen joined BC Data Systems in 2002 previously having been employed by Blackbird Data Systems & formerly Markem Systems. Now Head of Print Solutions Karen has primary responsibility for the sales & service of consumable items such as thermal ribbon & labels to a large number of customers such as DePuy, Marshalls, Chain Reaction Cycles, Alliance Healthcare, SBE, Henri Lloyd, Homebase & CarpetRight. Included within Karen’s portfolio would also be the specification & supply of thermal printers from Zebra Technologies to cover a multitude of applications & environments.
Sabine Kelly, Marketing Manager
Sabine gained 7 years experience in barcode scanning and printing technology, whilst working as Marketing Manager for a leading specialist Auto-ID UK Distributor. She had built a strong working relationship with Dakota whilst conceptualising and deploying lead generation marketing campaigns for the company, which was then a reseller partner and customer. Sabine joined Dakota in December 2013 and is responsible for the every element of the marketing function: planning, development and implementation of the marketing strategy, advertising and PR activitie, creation of brand awareness and generation of sales to new customers/markets.
