Dakota Awarded NHSSC Wristband Contract For A Further Four Years

30th March 2023

Dakota Integrated Solutions Ltd, a real-time technology, printing, mobility, support and digital data capture solution specialist, is delighted to announce that it has successfully secured a tender contract to continue to supply patient wristbands through the NHS Supply Chain (NHSSC) for a further four years.

Having supplied wristbands through the NHSSC for the past twelve years, this contract renewal will provide continuity and stability for Dakota’s customers’ ongoing wristband requirements and purchases.

With a rich history in supplying over two hundred NHS Trusts with fit-for-purpose technology solutions, Dakota provides full integration expertise across a broad range of healthcare applications. Offering a knowledgeable and consultative sales approach, Dakota is proud to offer a value-added service to its existing and prospective customers, providing recommendations in selecting the right devices and technology for its clients’ specific and diverse requirements.

Philip Jarrett, Commercial Director at Dakota comments, “We are delighted to have been awarded this contract renewal with the NHS Supply Chain. Having worked within the healthcare sector for over twenty years, since our inception in 2002, this is testament to our hard work and dedication over the past two decades. We are very much looking forward to working alongside our customers on an ongoing basis, providing them with mission-critical patient wristbands for the foreseeable future.”

This contract renewal is awarded just as Dakota is finalising its relocation to new larger office and warehouse premises in Manchester, brought about by exponential growth thanks to an increase in demand and renewed business opportunities within existing and new markets, having adopted additional digital technologies into its extensive product and solution portfolio.

Keith Hardy, Managing Director at Dakota concludes, “The growth and success of the business has been extremely positive of late with so many new opportunities coming to fruition. The team at Dakota works extremely hard to continue to provide exceptional levels of customer service to all of our customers. The new office and warehouse premises means that we now have more space to hold stock for our customer call offs and annual wristband, label and ribbon contracts, as well as the ability to handle a greater number of daily deliveries and shipments to the NHS and our long-standing supply chain customers. We are delighted that the business is doing so well, and we are looking forward to even more success in the future.”
