In the past, we have brought you customer, vendor and staff interviews, so now we thought it would be interesting to see what our partners have to say about us!
This month we spoke with Marc Osgoodby, Chief Operating Officer at Mountain Leverage, to find out his thoughts on all things Dakota!
1. How long have you been in your current role at Mountain Leverage?
I joined Mountain Leverage in April of 2022 as Chief Operating Officer, with over 25 years’ experience in both individual sales and leading regional, national and global sales, marketing, business development and delivery teams.
2. Can you tell us more about Mountain Leverage?
Mountain Leverage is the industry leader in voice-enabled workflow solutions and is laser-focused on helping our partners achieve peak performance in distribution centers of all sizes. From our inception, we have worked to create an organizational environment where our employees flourish and ultimately share that growth with our customers, suppliers, partners and communities.
3. What does your role within Mountain Leverage involve?
As Chief Operating Officer, I make sure that our entire team is working efficiently and effectively to identify market and customer needs, that we have the solutions to meet those customer needs and the resources to deliver, implement, train and fully support those solutions.
4. How long have you known the team at Dakota?
I first met the team at Dakota during my first week at Mountain Leverage last April, but the Mountain Leverage relationship with Dakota dates back to 2020.
5. What is Dakota like to interact with on a business basis?
We find the team at Dakota to be extremely customer focused and highly professional. Our teams have built a solid cadence in working closely together in the selling and delivery functions of our partnership. We have worked hard to make sure we have very clear expectations of each other so that we can deliver the best voice solutions for our shared customer base.
6. What attributes does Mountain Leverage require when seeking strategic partnerships with businesses such as Dakota?
Most importantly, we look for credibility and integrity in a partner. If a partner has those attributes and is capable of selling quality, value-based solutions to its customers in our common target markets, then we know we can build a successful partnership.
7. What benefits do you think Dakota contributes to Mountain Leverage’s overall solution offering?
Dakota has a terrific understanding of customers and customer needs and is very plugged into the markets which it serves. With its wide variety of products and solutions for mobile workers, Dakota is able to identify when a voice-directed work solution will solve a customer’s specific challenges. Dakota’s broad knowledge and coverage of the UK market combined with Mountain Leverage’s deep expertise in voice solutions has offered huge value to our shared customers.
8. What are Dakota’s specific USPs?
Dakota has a wide range of USPs and offers expertise, knowledge and innovation in focused markets, allowing the delivery of high value and highly specialized mobile computing and voice-directed solutions.
9. And finally, what do you hope the future holds for Mountain Leverage’s relationship with Dakota?
I hope for the continued growth and evolution of our partnership, our solutions and our shared value for our customer base! Mountain Leverage helps to provide Dakota with cutting-edge voice solutions that deliver immense value to users through improved accuracy, productivity and safety, and we look forward to working with Dakota to deliver these dramatic operational improvements to as many customers in the UK as possible!
