Flowervision Bristol Moves Forward With Dakota’s ETrakLogic Solution To Enhance Customer Service & Enable Cost & Carbon Emission Reductions
28th February 2025
Dakota Integrated Solutions Ltd, a real-time data capture, printing, mobility, support and voice-directed solution specialist, is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a contract with Flowervision Bristol to supply and implement its new and improved eTrakLogic solution alongside Flowervision’s fleet of delivery vehicles.
This latest award comes hot on the heels of Dakota’s new partnership agreement with Optimize; award-winning market leaders in commercial fleet route optimisation, decarbonisation and transformation. This new collaboration has resulted in an impressive number of user-focused, game-changing features previously unavailable on the preliminary version of eTrakLogic.
The new version of the solution enables fleets to optimise, decarbonise and transform through the deployment of powerful algorithms based upon artificial intelligence (AI), allowing businesses with vehicle fleets of any size to generate cost savings and efficiencies of up to 30%, increase productivity and reduce carbon emissions.
The deployment of the new eTrakLogic solution comes at a time of an upward growth trajectory on the delivery side of Flowervision’s business and the company’s desire to help enable its drivers to independently load up the vans correctly and carry out deliveries more efficiently via route optimisation and achieve order accuracy as well as time, cost and fuel savings.
The move was also undertaken to address the company’s drive to enhance its in-house delivery accuracy and overall operations.
The ability to provide accurate and transparent delivery notifications to Flowervision’s customers, which include trade florists, shops, studios and garden centres, was a key component in the decision to move forward with eTrakLogic, as well as the capability to take photographic evidence of delivery locations and times if required.
In addition, the eTrakLogic solution makes the most economic routes available to the drivers via their Zebra Technologies TC27 mobile computers, alongside guidance on how the van should be loaded to enable swift and accurate product delivery. Drivers are also prompted to undertake vehicle checks prior to setting off on their route to ensure that their vehicle is safe and roadworthy.
Nick Hudson, Managing Director at Flowervision Bristol comments, “We believe that the implementation of eTrakLogic will be a transformative game-changer for our organisation. Not only will it enable us to save on time and fuel costs through efficient route optimisation, it will also help us to better serve our customers thanks to the provision of accurate delivery data, which is updated and provided to them in real time. It will also help us to reduce our overall carbon emissions and since the safety of our drivers is of paramount importance, the introduction of automated vehicle checks via the eTrakLogic solution will go a long way in keeping them safe. We are delighted to be working alongside Dakota and Optimize on this project and can’t wait to fully implement the solution in a few weeks’ time and start to realise the multitude of benefits that it will undoubtedly bring.”
