Dakota Integrated Solutions Ltd, a real-time data capture, printing, mobility, support and voice-directed solution specialist, is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a contract with Lovell Stone Group Ltd to supply and implement its bespoke Android-based Asset Management Software alongside mobile device hardware (tablets and handheld terminals), printers and labels.
A family business with a reputation for excellence, Lovell Stone Group Ltd offers iconic British stone to customers throughout the UK. Operating and owning quarries throughout the South West of England, Dakota will be implementing its solution across four of Lovell’s sites.
Designed purely in-house by Dakota’s team of skilled software specialists, Lovell’s new asset management solution meets the needs of the various nuances of the individual sites, addressing the need to move away from paper and excel spreadsheets and embracing the digitalised recording of order booking, stock allocation and product dispatch.
Tom Waddington, Executive Director at Lovell Stone Group Ltd comments, “The Dakota Asset Management Solution will not only provide tangible benefits for the business in terms of increasing overall efficiency, enhancing accuracy and augmenting scalability in order to accommodate our growing business needs; it will also enable us to gain access to comparative information across our sites, highlighting those areas which are in need of improvement. We are delighted to be working alongside Dakota in this exciting new phase for Lovell, and are very much looking forward to the imminent implementation of the new solution and associated hardware.”
Charlie Cowan, Head of Strategic Accounts at Dakota concludes, “We are thrilled to have been selected as the Software Solution Provider of choice by Lovell to accompany them on the first stage of their digitalisation journey. Our bespoke solution offers a robust, integrated approach to automating and digitising a number of Lovell’s mission-critical processes to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy and overall productivity. We are confident that their investment will deliver significant long-term benefits whilst supporting their strategic goals and aspirations. We are very much looking forward to continuing to nurture our ongoing relationship with Lovell and can’t wait to get started on the initial implementation of this project in the coming weeks.”
