'Vendor Spotlight Of The Month' Interview With Claudia Choroba-Steinbach At GETT Gerätetechnik GmbH

Welcome to the seventh of our ‘Vendor Spotlight of the Month’ interviews!

In the past we have brought you both customer interviews and staff interviews, so we thought it would be interesting to see what our vendors have to say about us!

This month we spoke with Claudia Choroba-Steinbach, Sales Expert Channel Management at GETT Gerätetechnik GmbH, to find out her thoughts on all things Dakota!

1. How long have you been in your current role at GETT?

I have been working at full speed within the Sales Department at GETT for almost 10 years now.

2. What does your role within GETT involve?

Within my role, I support our Channel Partners so that they are able to inform their customers about the GETT product range in the best possible way, through the provision of detailed and well-founded information. Furthermore, I am also responsible for developing new Channel Partners. The aim is to familiarise them with our products and everything that goes with it. 

3. How long have you known the team at Dakota?

I have been in an active exchange of ideas and in regular contact with the current team at Dakota since the beginning of last year.

4. What is Dakota like to interact with on a business basis?

Dakota is a great partner! They give us the opportunity to make our special GETT products available to an even wider range of customers in the UK. In addition, our GETT products perfectly complement Dakota's other products and solutions within their extensive portfolio.

5. What attributes do you require in a GETT Partner?

It is important to us that our GETT Partners understand why we put so much emphasis on quality. This of course means that our products cannot be compared with other cheaper products currently available on the market today. They are clearly distinguishable. We trust our Partners and expect them to trust us. Our GETT products stand for durability and quality as they are “Made in Germany”. We keep our promises, and we expect the same from our partners. Whoever chooses to work with GETT gets the best all-round support from a specialist in material product compliance. In turn, we expect this to be passed on to our partners' customers. In the case of Dakota, this works perfectly. 

6. How do you think Dakota contributes to the GETT Partner Community?

Working with Dakota will allow us to reach even more customers in the UK, make our products even more visible in this market and also allows us to benefit from Dakota's years of experience. Through this relationship, we have the opportunity to better understand the UK market and learn what added value our products already offer or should offer in the future. As an innovative company with a large development department, this information is vital for further product development.

7. What are Dakota’s specific USPs?

If you are looking to source data capture products for the healthcare sector, you will find it at Dakota! And if you can't find it right away, Dakota has a great team on hand to help you find a solution to your problem, no matter the quantity or product required.

8. And finally, what do you hope the future holds for GETT’s relationship with Dakota?

I hope that together we can convince consumers in the UK of the need for washable and durable products. In recent years, we have learned that products which are washable/disinfectable are of the utmost importance. The task now is to raise awareness of sustainability. As a society, we have to get away from the thought process that the main thing is to buy cheap and if the item no longer works, then it can be thrown away, because everything is almost always available to the consumer. But do we really need that? No. We need to ensure that we purchase products consciously and rely on products that offer us all sustainable added value. This is what GETT products stand for, so I'm really looking forward to the future with Dakota.
