Dakota To Exhibit At The GS1 UK Healthcare Conference 2022

6th January 2022

Dakota Healthcare, part of Dakota Integrated Solutions Ltd, is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting at the 2022 GS1 UK Healthcare Conference.

Taking place on March 17th and 18th at the QEII Centre in London, the Conference promises to be bigger and better than ever before and will build upon the last Conference’s themes of patient safety and digital transformation.

Showcasing a range of companies which work closely with the Healthcare sector, the Conference aims to highlight the significant impact potential for GS1 open standards to shape both the national and international healthcare landscape, as well as focusing on how GS1 standards are being harnessed to improve patient safety and reduce unwarranted clinical variation whilst driving operational efficiencies for patients, healthcare staff, suppliers and manufacturers alike.

Keith Hardy, Managing Director at Dakota, comments “We are delighted to be part of this year’s GS1 UK Healthcare Conference and are looking forward to mingling with like-minded Healthcare Sector representatives in order to showcase our extensive solution offerings designed specifically for this sector, taking into account its requirements, needs and challenges. As a business, we have a rich history in supplying over 200 NHS Trusts and several hospital groups within the private healthcare sector with fit-for-purpose technology solutions due to our expertise and close working relationships with Framework Resellers and the NHS Supply Chain, and provide full integration expertise across a broad range of healthcare applications including bedside point of care, positive patient identification, track and trace, domiciliary care, asset tagging and inventory control.”

Offering a knowledgeable and consultative sales approach, Dakota offers a value-added service to its existing and prospective customers, providing recommendations in selecting the right devices and technology for its clients’ specific and diverse requirements.

In addition to being a GS1 UK Partner and an expert in deploying GS1-UK wristband solutions, Dakota is also a supporter of the Scan4Safety initiative, part of the eProcurement strategy set out by the Department of Health and has been involved in projects with the 6 NHS Acute Trusts selected as demonstrator sites of excellence for the use of GS1 and PEPPOL Standards.
